Rev. Dr John Mallison has had extensive experience in mentoring. For over forty five years he has mentored Christian leaders, young and old, in all sections of the church throughout Australia and in numerous countries overseas.
John has also been a lecturer, consultant and trainer in leadership development in many fields of church growth and renewal.
He made a major contribution to the Small Group Movement across Australia through his extensive and creative use of small groups, his writings and training of thousands of leaders.
John is a prolific writer, having 23 books published, and has written numerous articles that aim to make Christian disciples and leaders.

In October 2011 John Mallison was asked to address a gathering of the evangelical members of the New South Wales Uniting Church in Australia on the comprehensive subject of Evangelism & Disciple-Making. He gave his session the title "Christianity and Relationship". As is his practise when teaching he used an inductive approach which included some small group work segments followed by plenary feedback and discussion. Those present were very appreciative of the session. The articles are included here:
